SUMMER.

We started off with the same setting as we did for the winter one with the still life table, but instead we used a sand coloured cloth for the sand and a blue sheet for the sea. We propped up the 2 with a glass. We used the same equipment as we did with the winter ident to hold the camera and the lighting.

Dani then stuck on clouds that coral made earlier on, onto a blue background to make it look like a sky.

We then had the perfect scene for a summers day. To make it look more realistic Jodie made the blue material ripple making it look more like a sea.

We then got the lighting sorted out for the sea and for the background with the main lights turned off through the flip camera the scene looked nice and bright and summery.

This is the set up for the ident. We had then finished filming.

We started off by setting up the background for the ident, including the backdrop stand to hag the snowflakes on that coral made earlier. We used a still life table to use as the base for the props that we are including in the ident. We covered it with a black sheet and made the background black so it looks like a night sky with the snowflakes hanging up.

we made a base to help it stand up by using left over foam board, but because the 2 was too heavy for it we used pebbles to hold it down so it didn't move.

Dani got some white thread and attached it to the snowflakes where we then hung them up to the back drop.

We then made sure that we could see all the set in the frame for the flip camera, we also used a mono to keep the camera in position as we were filming.

by having the fan on the slowest setting it gently moved the snowflakes making it seem as if they were falling from the sky.

We then turned off the main lights and used the studio lights to brighten up the set, we didn't want it too bright as it would be hard to see the fairy lights that we set up around the 2, we also set up a snowman to help make the winter theme more wintery.

The making of the Spring 2

The spring 2 was made with the same base and the same thickness but different decoration with a mixture of card and plastic flowers.

we started off making an outline of the two with blue card, we cut it out and stuck it down. We then lined the green card up to the 2 to mark it out but we needed it a bit bigger so we could cut the grass into it.

then we started cutting into it to make the grass look more textured, this way it looks more 3D as well.

Then we stuck it down onto the number 2.

Then we moved on to the decoration sticking a cloud onto the top of it and drawing birds onto it and also sticking down the flowers to make it more spring like.

Creating the the background for the summer 2

As you can see if we stuck to our set jobs it would take a lot longer to get our process going so we stuck together getting a job done at a time, helping each other. Lydia took the photographs to evident our hard work.

The making of the Autumn number 2

The base of this number 2 is the same as the winter one, but instead we decorated this number 2 with leaves preferably red/orange ones to get the more Autumn feel. We used cotton wool  first to make it more bulky and thick and then we added the leaves on top.

We put it on the radiator to dry as we used a lot of glue to stick the leaves down as they were hard to work with.

The Winter number 2.

To create the winter 2 we used cotton wool and the 3 bases that had been stuck together.

we thought that snow would be best for winter, so we went out and bought some cotton wool as we thought that would look the best as snow.

Me and Dani helped assist Jodie by decorating one of the 2's with cotton wool by adding the first layer.

The first layer is finished and another layer of cotton wool is applied to make it look a lot thicker and a lot fluffier.

All the layers were then complete and it was looking a lot thicker and so fluffy. I decided it was my favourite.  Then all we needed to do was thick of decorating the background.

Coral designed and made the snowflakes for the background where they would be hung up on string against the black background so it looked like the night sky and the 2 stood out more.
